We are inviting students to a different version of our annual fall retreat. This year we are not only having a day event on Saturday, but we are also inviting students to hang out with their small group leaders overnight on Saturday. It will be like a traditional "Discipleship Now" event. Leaders from each of our campuses will be hosting the students and other leaders in their homes Saturday night. Each congregation will have guys in one home and girls in another.

Saturday, at Summit Cherrydale from 9am all the students will be together. We will sing, pray, sit under teaching, and have guided discussions around our retreat's topic. After our all-campus time, students will head to host homes with their leaders from their campus and other students of the same gender. The heart behind an overnight is that students and leaders will be able to use this time to grow the relationship that already exist and use this time to follow up with any conversations about the scripture gone through that day.

Our retreat theme for the year is going to be about Devotion. What does it look like to live empowered by the Spirit and in response to the gospel? To accept the invitation from God to participate in His plan to redeem the world to Himself. We will be anchored in Acts 2:42, "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to the prayer."
